Council is seeking applications from enthusiastic motivated individuals for the following position
WATER & WASTEWATER MAINTENANCE OPERATOR/RELIEF PUMPWELL OPERATOR (Permanent)
The purpose of the Water and Wastewater Maintenance Operator/Relief Pumpwell Operator is to construct, operate and maintain Councils water and sewerage reticulation system and pump stations to relevant standards in a safe, economical and proficient manner, using the plant, equipment and materials supplied.
Qualifications: The successful applicant will require a current Australian Driver licence and a General Construction Induction Training certificate (GIT or white card). Please include copies of all relevant licenses and qualifications with your application.
Skills required: The successful applicant will need to demonstrate the ability to complete laboring duties, operate small plant and equipment and be able to use mobile devices.
Hours of work: 38 hours per week.
Salary and conditions: Commencement annual salary $62,831.46 to $69,113.17 (Grade 7). Rostered day off once a fortnight.
