Project Engineer

Information on the Position:

Flinders Shire Council is seeking candidates for the role of Project Engineer within our Engineering Team.

The Project Engineer is responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) projects and any other contract works across the Flinders Shire and will ensure that projects are delivered in accordance with relevant TMR standards, technical specifications, Council Policy statements and Construction Management systems.

As a representative of Council, demonstrated professionalism and a commitment to a high level of service and continuous improvement in the best interest of Council and the Community are essential.

The remuneration package for this position includes:

• Base salary: Negotiable in line with skills, experience and qualifications
• Locality allowance of $1,708.20 p/a single or $3,416.40 p/a with dependants
• 12% Superannuation (based on a 6% employee contribution)
• 5 weeks Annual leave with 17.5% Leave Loading
• 9-day fortnight
• Fully maintained vehicle for private and work purposes with a $6,000 p.a. personal
• contribution (salary sacrificed)
• Subsidised housing (unfurnished) at $154.00 per week (salary sacrificed)
• Relocation assistance valued at up to $5,000.

This is a full-time role, on a 4 Year Maximum Term Contract and is based on a 76 hour, 9-day fortnight.
