The role

The Project Engineer plays a key role in the delivery of Council’s capital works program across a variety of infrastructure asset classes.

The role involves planning, scoping, developing, tendering and delivering road, footpath, bridge and drainage projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and to relevant standards.

Our ideal candidate

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • relevant experience and qualifications
  • experience in civil construction and project management
  • competency with AutoCAD and Microsoft programs
  • ability to show initiative and resolve issues effectively
  • excellent communication and customer service skills
  • the legal right to work in Australia
