About the Role

We are one of Australia’s fastest growing and innovative councils at the forefront of digitisation and automation in government services. Having already had considerable success in this space, we continue to expand our investment in key technology and the people that support it. 

Reporting to the Information Technology Team leader, this position oversees the software and integration team in the delivery and maintenance of new and existing sector leading business solutions. The successful applicant will need to demonstrate their competency for the position by meeting the following essential criteria:

  • Information Technology related degree, or extensive applicable and equivalent industry experience.
  • Extensive experience in software development and team management.
  • Extensive track record of delivering business user focused solutions that digitise and automate business processes.
  • Extensive experience in managing and delivering software solutions in a low code/no code environment such as Salesforce or similar.
  • A proven track record of improving and maintaining levels of customer engagement and satisfaction with a software development function.
  • A proven track record of planning and delivering software projects on time, on budget and with the agreed scope.
