Just a three-hour drive southwest of Brisbane, the picturesque local government area of Tenterfield is situated in the New England High Country region of Northern New South Wales. As the Manager Assets and Program Planning, you will lead and manage the Council's infrastructure and other assets strategically and systematically to ensure current and robust asset management data informs long-term financial planning, improve service delivery, extend asset lifespans, reduce lifecycle costs, and minimise the risks associated with asset failure.

The role is pivotal in developing operational, capital, and maintenance works programs and budgets and identifying, applying for, and managing grant funding for all Council assets.

Tertiary qualified in Civil Engineering or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of demonstrated asset management, engineering, budgeting, and project planning, you will lead the team to provide value-adding asset management and engineering outcomes to a high level.

Excellent in written and verbal communication, you will also have a thorough knowledge and understanding of the principles and practices of Equal Employment Opportunity, Work Health and Safety and the ability to apply them to the workplace.
