THE POSITION:
Council is seeking suitably qualified and enthusiastic planning professionals with broad experience in the assessment of development applications to join our development planning team. A high standard of inter-personal communication, negotiation and writing skills are essential. The position would ideally be suited to planning professionals seeking to work in a dynamic and fast paced team environment where you will be exposed to interesting and diverse projects across the Fairfield LGA.
The successful applicant will be a self-motivated individual capable of exercising delegation and case managing a range of development proposals, preparing reports and attending the Sydney Western City Planning Panel (SWCPP) and Council’s Fairfield Local Planning Panel (FLPP) in addition to facilitating input into Council’s planning policies and strategies.
