Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, this role provides you with the opportunity to positively contribute to the City’s land development process by applying your specialist knowledge to influence the strategic and statutory planning outcomes. You will ensure a combined approach to the assessment of Structure Plans, Subdivision Plans, Development Applications and Civil Engineering approvals.

To be considered for this role, you must address the following selection criteria as part of your online application:

  1. Knowledge of planning process and the relevant statutory guidance for Greenfield subdivision and urban infill development sites.
  2. An ability to perform composite analysis, interpret technical data and consider complex design elements attached to the provision of road and drainage infrastructure.
  3. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the modelling and implementation of urban water management concepts.
  4. Knowledge of project management, construction techniques, materials and coordination of civil engineering related works.
  5. Experience with software packages such as 3D Civil.
  6. Quality communication (verbal and written) and a high level negotiation skills.
  7. Demonstrated experience leading a team.

We are offering a gross salary range of $105,599 - $111, 342 per annum, depending on skills and experience, and:

  • 11.5% superannuation with the option to co-contribute up to 5%
