We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as Coordinator – Transport, where you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the strategic management of Council’s transport assets.

As the Coordinator - Transport, you will lead the development and implementation of asset management strategies for our transport infrastructure. This includes road networks, bridges, pathways, and public transport facilities. You will ensure the optimal performance, sustainability, and lifecycle management of these critical assets, with a focus on long-term planning and community impact.

The ideal candidate has:

  • Bachelor of Engineering Degree (Civil) and eligibility for corporate membership of Engineers Australia / Professionals Australia.
  • Registered Professional Engineer Queensland (RPEQ), or attainment of RPEQ within 6 months of appointment.
  • Extensive experience in coordinating the development, review and implementation of strategic/master (infrastructure) plans as they relate to local, state or federal government.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of road and traffic planning principles and analysis including knowledge of requirements of Australian Standards, State Government Departments (e.g., DTMR), Austroads.
