The Role

An exciting opportunity exists within our Infrastructure Services directorate for a Civil Construction Worker. In this role, you will be responsible for providing labouring duties associated with roads and drainage maintenance and construction in the Whitsunday region.

Essential

• C Class ‘Manual’ Drivers Licence.
• General Construction Safety Induction (White card).
• Traffic Management Implementation or willingness to obtain soon after appointment.
• Certificate III in Civil Construction or willingness to obtain soon after appointment.

Desirable

• Occupation Health and Safety Certificates of Competency in LR, LL, LB, LG, LF.
• Class MR or HR/HC Drivers licence.
• Operational Competency in Plant Operation for Roller, Backhoe, Grader, Bobcat (Skid Steer).
• Traffic Control Ticket.
