Primary Objectives:

  • The primary focus of this position is to manage allocated projects using a design-led project management methodology.
  • Provide design advice and mange key strategic projects fostering, policy and project outcomes that promote high quality,
  • resilient, responsive, culturally appropriate, economically sustainable, and innovative urban environments for the region.
  • Requires a level of autonomy and initiative.

Qualifications & Licences:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant design field (urban design, architecture, landscape architecture), and/or equivalent knowledge and experience in design management services.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience in preparing submissions, reports, strategies, and correspondence related to design, planning proposals, and statutory instruments.
  • Experience in developing and executing comprehensive project management plans, including scope, time, cost, quality, resources, communications, risk, procurement, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to work independently and take the initiative in driving project success.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and challenges.
  • A genuine passion for urban design and a drive to make a meaningful impact on the region's future.
