We currently have an opportunity for a full-time HR Concrete Agitator Truck Driver to join the team at the Heidelberg Materials Concrete Plant, located in Bathurst, NSW. Driving a concrete agitator truck for Heidelberg Materials is more than just going from A to B and back again. Our Agitator drivers provide high levels of customer service to our clients receiving our products, becoming the face of our business. As an Agi Driver, you will be making multiple deliveries throughout the day and interacting with lots of different people. Every day will be different, there’s nothing routine about this role! Your new role: This role will be based out of the Bathurst Concrete Plant servicing the Bathurst and surrounding areas. Most days will start between 6am and 6:30am and drivers can do up to and over 10 hours per day, and around 50 – 55 hours per week. Saturday work is as required and is paid at overtime rates We pay a base rate for the first 8 hours of your day, Monday to Friday.


After these 8 hours, the next two hours will be at time and a half. If you do more than 10 hours in a day, you go to double time. Meal allowances are generally paid after 10 hours in one shift As we mentioned, driving an Agi is like being a Customer Service Agent on wheels. You will be dealing with lots of different personalities every day, so you need to be comfortable interacting with people you haven’t met before We provide cutting edge technology to not only keep you safe whilst driving, but also to help you map your routes and keep track of your loads All new starts go through a minimum of 10-day driver training program before we let you loose by yourself This is a great fit for you if you have: Minimum of HR license (essential) with previous driving experience (preferred) Construction White Card, or are willing to get one before you start You enjoy meeting people and having a chat with them when you’re onsite You prefer variety in your working life.


No two days are ever the same when you’re driving one of our Agi trucks You take pride in the appearance of your truck. Keep it clean, give it a wash and present the best image of our company. You are a mobile billboard and people notice a dirty truck Able to pass a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol test (random testing is also conducted on all Heidelberg sites) Some of our trucks have driver weight limits on their seats and seatbelts. For safety reasons, you may be required to be under a specified weight for these trucks What we offer: Base hourly rate of $32.88 per hour plus super, overtime penalties and allowances Monthly RDO accrual and weekly pay cycle Company Uniform and PPE is supplied Minimum 10-day Agi Driver training program and buddy support Ongoing career growth and development opportunities across a nationwide organisation All successful applicants will be required to complete a pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol screening.
