Quarry Operator Casual | $33.26 - $41.31ph (Inclusive of loading 25%) + super + penalties Heidelberg Materials Australia (formerly Hanson) have opportunities to join our team as a Casual Quarry Operator at one of our sites north of Brisbane. This role will be reporting to the Quarry Manager, and we are seeking applicants who are experienced in this field and have a passion for safety and values a strong work ethic. This is casual leading to full-time for the right candidate. Financials: You will be rewarded with a competitive and attractive hourly rate ($36.50 - $40.30ph inclusive of 25% casual loading. After 8 hours, the first 2hrs of overtime is time and a half, then all double time from then. About the Role: Operating Mobile Equipment including Dump Trucks, Front End Loaders, and Excavators. Operating the crushing and screening plant General fixed plant maintenance and inspections During busy periods we expect all employees to pitch in and perform any/all quarry tasks where needed Commitment to Zero Harm and Safety Leadership Adhere to fixed and mobile plant pre-start & maintenance procedures. Background and Experience required: Quarry/Mining experience.
Experience operating a Front-End Loader, Dump Truck and/or Excavator. Ability to work in a small team and unsupervised. Professional work ethic with a "can do" attitude example.
