Concrete Batcher in Charge Are you a self-motivated team player? We are looking for someone for our Mount Barker Concrete plant who is passionate about safety, results focused with awesome communication skills, a strong work ethic and the ability to multi-task. This plant has one truck and is run and operated by the Batcher in Charge. The right candidate will be trained to batch their own truck and deliver to site. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working autonomously. The Batcher in Charge role has excellent career development potential with the opportunity to learn about concrete, quarry materials, plant operation, concrete batching, scheduling, and logistics whilst working in the construction industry. This role is full time, Monday to Friday, with standard hours of work being 5am - 3:00/5:00pm, with all other hours being paid at overtime rates, including rostered Saturday mornings. Experience is preferred; however, training will be provided to successful candidates.


About the Role: Batching agitator trucks safely and efficiently Delivering concrete in an agitator (HR licence required) Loading aggregate bins Housekeeping and yard duties Communicating with customer on a regular basis Placing orders for customers and internal stakeholders Operation of a front-end loader Background and Experience required: Are self-motivated and take pride in your work HR licence will be highly regarded Have a strong work-ethic and excellent time keeping. Can efficiently support individual customer requests Enjoy being part of a results driven environment Have a high regard for safety policies and procedures Have very good IT skills and experience using Outlook and other software’s A front-end loader ticket and experience would be highly regarded.
