Technical Allocator – Part-time (job share) The main purpose of the Allocator’s role is to ensure effective allocation & delivery of Customer and QC testing requirements, and collection samples by utilising company and external Field Testers. The position is based at Heidelberg Materials Skygate Laboratory in Brisbane. This role has a spread of hours of around 6am to 5pm and we are looking forward to setting this up as a job share arrangement. We are open to the job holders adopting a flexible approach to the hours and will take an open-mind approach to this. The role is office/ computer based, and all training will be provided. About the Role: Shifts are nominally 6am – 12pm/12pm – 5:30pm but other arrangements may work equally well, so long as these spread of hours are covered. Monitor and review the relevant report for testing requirements. Understand testing requirements (type, frequency, equipment, duration). Allocate daily testing schedules and samples for collection. Answer phones and respond to messages promptly. Manage specific and late testing requests.


Facilitate the servicing of Tester fleet vehicles. Report on allocations (daily schedules, QC status). Assist the Laboratory Supervisor with processes, safety, and data entry. Perform ad hoc tasks as required. Background and Experience required: General business knowledge. Excellent communication and supervisory skills. Handle communications and close-out issues. Work effectively as part of a team and under pressure. Adapt to changing situations. Problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills. Effective decision-making, multi-tasking and critical thinking skills. Experience/Qualifications: Customer service experience (desirable).
