About the Role

You will be responsible for provide administrative support to assist the Facilities Manager carry out the effective and efficient management of Council owned facilities. As Facilities Maintenance Officer you will be a point of contact for internal and external customers seeking support and information. You will carry out the team's administrative functions such as work order coordination, raising of purchase orders, payment of invoices, liaison with suppliers, overseeing cleaners and various other facilities related functions.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • Certificate/Diploma in Administration or Facilities Management, a Trade Qualification or equivalent experience.
  • A current class C Driver's Licence.
  • Demonstrated administrative experience including Microsoft office applications and software
  • Effective time management and organisational skills including the ability to balance competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated initiative and the ability to work autonomously in addition to effectively contributing to a team.
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication, consultation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability and willingness to provide a high standard of customer service.
  • Problem solving skills with acute attention to detail.

Salary range -Up to $97K per annum (incl super) dependent on the skills, qualifications and relevant experience of the suitable candidate.
