About The Role:

Our Beverley Recycling and Waste Centre provides an essential service for our community in recycling and waste, with the centre operating across 7 days. Our team members understand the importance of customer service and have a safety-first focus. As an Operator Labourer, this position will operate plant, equipment, the weighbridge, and undertake general labouring duties in a safe and efficient manner with a focus on customer service. 

About You:

Applications are welcome from those with:

• Essential: White card and HR truck licence.
• Desirable: Tickets in excavator, loader, or backhoe.
• Experience in general labouring and or waste removal.
• Flexibility to work across weekends and outside of ordinary operating hours.

About Our Team:

City Utilities contributes to keeping our City beautiful through a range of roles including the management of operations at our Beverley Recycling and Waste Centre, our kerbside waste service contract, street sweeping and upgrading our stormwater and waterway systems.

The Detail:

We have a full-time permanent vacancy classified at ME6, with a starting salary of $74,721 per annum + super. The benefits of joining the City of Charles Sturt also include:
