Property Maintenance - Plumber

About The Role:

In this role you will work as a member of the Property Maintenance Team to undertake quality reactive and programmed plumbing works, as well as assisting with general maintenance activities as required.

Your extensive plumbing and general maintenance skills, combined with your excellent communication, time management and care for what you do, will ensure a value-added service is provided, creating a positive experience for our community.

About You:

Applications are welcome from those who:

• Are a certified plumber, ideally with proven experience in residential and commercial maintenance plumbing;
• Enjoy working in a small, achievement-focused team and have a strong safety focus, with a positive approach to your work;
• Possess good communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and customers;
• Have a current C Class driver’s licence.

About Our Team:

City Maintenance are equipped to care for open spaces across our beaches, reserves and parks, ensuring they are maintained and up to standard. This diverse portfolio is passionate and skilled in areas including property management and repair, irrigation, biodiversity, arboriculture, trees and sports turf, as well as program scheduling and contract support.

Civil and Property Maintenance comprises a range of teams that contribute to maintaining our roads, streets and buildings to ensure safety for our community. This includes the maintenance and repair of essential amenities through concreting, grinding, line marking, paving and drainage.  

The Detail:

The position is offered on a full-time permanent basis and is classified at Grade ME7 with a starting salary of $76,417 per annum + Super. The benefits of joining the City of Charles Sturt also include:
