Salary: $108,609.01 to $119,007.71 pa + 11.5% super (+ Council Leaseback Vehicle)

ABOUT THE ROLE

The position is a key resource of Council’s Asset Management team to assist in the development and implementation of Asset Management Plans in accordance with Councils Asset Management Policy and Strategies. The position will assist in ensuring high quality and reliable asset data and information for most efficient and cost-effective asset operation and decision making in one of the most rapidly growing cities in NSW.   

The successful applicant will be responsible for the asset management and associated operational support so as to facilitate the achievement of “best practice” asset management of Council’s infrastructure. ABOUT YOU

Our desired candidate will have the following:

  •   Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent or extensive experience in Local Government Infrastructure Asset Management
  • Class C Driver’s License
  • Minimum 5 – 7 years’ knowledge and experience in the development and use of asset management plans, systems and strategies.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in sustainable asset management, budgeting, procurement processes and associated technologies.
  • Well-developed IT skills appropriate to the position including MS Office suite applications.
  • Demonstrated experience in communication, presentation and marketing of material, information and ideas to a broad range of stakeholders including community groups, elected representatives and senior management and staff.
  • Other duties as reasonably directed by the Manager Infrastructure Planning and Coordinator Asset   Planning and Management.

The salary will be dependent upon the relevant skills, experience, and competencies of the successful applicant.  The successful applicant is to commence in the role after 1 January 2025.
