About the role:

The Revenue Coordinator role leads the revenue and rating functions of Council which includes rates preparation and collection, property ownership transfers and valuations, election and voters roll, accounts receivable, debt collection and continuous improvement.

This position presents an exciting opportunity to draw on your previous experience within the rating and revenue space and work on a wide variety of tasks within a small rural council.

This is a full time role and is based in our Wedderburn office.

About you:

The successful candidate will have:

· experience working in an office environment with rates / debtors and debt collection knowledge an advantage

· ability to read, interpret and apply principles within any relevant policies, procedures and legislation

· proven time management skills with an ability to prioritise and work to procedures and guidelines

· extensive experience in the use of computer information systems

· high-level interpersonal skills with a proven ability to communicate queries in a confidential and professional manner

· excellent verbal and written communication skills.
