About the role

Are you a skilled, reliable, and versatile tradesperson looking to contribute to the upkeep and improvement of your local community? The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder is seeking a Handyman to join our team!

Duties

Key responsibilities include:

• Perform general maintenance and repair work across city facilities and public spaces.
• Carry out carpentry, painting and other minor repairs as needed.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks to a high standard of workmanship.
• Assist with routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Work collaboratively with other city departments to maintain safety and operational standards.

Who we are Looking for:

To be considered for this position, you will need:

• Proven experience in general handyman work, with knowledge of various trades
• Ability to diagnose and solve maintenance issues efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Valid driver’s license required.
