The role

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Coordinator to join our Business Transformation Program team. This role is responsible for effective project coordination, including tracking schedules, monitoring vendor resourcing, supporting business stakeholders and Project Managers. You will be the main contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment with project goals. You'll also manage project documentation, resolve issues, coordinate resources, and track progress to ensure projects stay on budget and on time. 

What you'll bring 

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Project Management or a related field and have a strong grasp of the project management lifecycle. You should have demonstrated experience in coordinating program or project management activities, including status reporting, monitoring risks and issues, and maintaining project artefacts. Additionally, you must have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to support and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, influence stakeholders, advocate for change, and negotiate favorable outcomes.

Location: This position will be based at our Administration Centre in Yalawanyi Ganya at 2 Biripi Way, Taree. You may also be required to be based from other Council sites across the MidCoast Council region.

Salary: Commencing salary package range circa $83,000 p.a. to $91,000 p.a. plus superannuation. (Dependent on skills and experience.)   

Tenure: 18 month contract, Full Time.
