About the Opportunity

As a Water and Wastewater Technician at Murray River Council, your primary responsibility is to operate and maintain the council’s water, sewer, and stored stormwater infrastructure. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and Murray River Council Policies and Procedures.

What you need to be successful:

Mandatory

  • Certificate III Water Treatment or equivalent
  • Commitment to undertaking continuing professional development.
  • Current Driver’s Licence
  • National Police Check
  • Pre-employment Medical
  • Current First Aid Certificate

Desirable

  • Confined Space Ticket
  • Experience in backflow prevention
  • Experience in Direct Digital Control systems
  • Certificate III Sewerage Treatment
  • Medium Rigid Truck Licence
