About the role

In this role, you will collaborate closely with various departments, ensuring that our branding is consistently applied across all platforms. Your expertise in design will help maintain our corporate identity while also allowing for fresh and creative ideas to flourish. Whether it's engaging promotional materials or strategic documents, you will ensure that our visual communications are impactful and aligned with Council objectives.

You will not only manage the production of visually striking materials but also act as a brand custodian, developing our corporate planning suits of documents whilst crafting innovative design solutions that resonate with our community. From print to digital, your high-quality visual communications will play a pivotal role in conveying our messages to residents, visitors, and local businesses.

This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Degree in Graphic Design or related field OR demonstrated extensive contemporary experience in a similar role, combined with ongoing professional development
• Highly developed computer skills including proficiency in MS Office, Electronic Document Management Systems, and contemporary graphic design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (High level InDesign, Photo and Illustrator) and website editing and creative platforms such as Canva
• Experience creating visual design assets for digital, web media and print
• Ability to create effective, contemporary visual communication pieces from inception through to finished product

Other important information

• The salary range for this position ranges between $72k to $86k pa (dependent on skills and experience) plus 11.5% superannuation 
• We have a temporary full-time role available. 
• This role will be able to access a 9 day fortnight
• We are able to offer hybrid and flexible working conditions for this role
• This role is located at the Wyong Administration Building
