THE POSITION:
Drive the AlburyCity Website Project from inception to implementation. This will include the review of our website content and the Content Management System for AlburyCity and determine the feasibility of an AlburyCity app to support the new website.
Work with Communication & Engagement team members and content managers across Council to undertake a review to determine critical content. 
Gather requirements and prepare the necessary documentation for procurement of a Content Management System to deliver our primary website and up to 15 other subsidiary micro-sites. 
Execute the implementation of a selected solution, working with key stakeholders and vendors to deliver the solution and applying change management practices to ensure a successful implementation. 
Research the cost, technical build requirements, resource capability (in-house or external) and report on the feasibility of creating an AlburyCity app. Include an assessment of community need and the success of any existing apps with other Councils. This work will be in-scope with the AlburyCity new website project because the new website must share capabilities with the proposed app.
 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive the project for the review of our website content and Content Management System for AlburyCity.
  • Delivery of the project from inception, including content review and procurement through to delivery, while managing budget, timelines and quality goals. Identify, analyse, mitigate and proactively respond to project, financial and operational risks.
  • Research the cost, technical build requirements, resource capability (in-house or external) and report on feasibility of creating an AlburyCity app.
  • Design and execute an implementation plan so that all stakeholders and required resources can work as an effective and collaborative team.
  • Leverage the existing tools and reporting against our Project Management Framework to ensure effective execution of projects.
  • Helping manage stakeholder and vendor relationships, contract negotiations, new vendor selection processes, renewal solutions, maintenance and support.
  • Perform other tasks or duties as directed by the Supervisor which are within the limits of the employee's skill, competence and training.
  • Observe requirements of the WHS Legislation, relevant to the job and adhere to AlburyCity Policies and Procedures regarding WHS.
  • Observe appropriate AlburyCity Policies and Procedures regarding day to day operations including Equal Employment Opportunity policies, AlburyCity's Dress Code and Standards Policy and AlburyCity's Code of Conduct.
