The Role:

You will be a part of the Facilities Officers team who pride themselves on delivering an efficient cleaning and venue presentation service across the Nature Parks precincts on Phillip Island, to ensure facilities and grounds are presented to the highest possible standard.

Key Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Supporting daily operations in managing cleaning and presentation of facilities, including buildings, amenities, gardens, paths, and car parks.  
  • Following cleaning and presentation manuals and programs.
  • Following and documenting safety procedures and processes as required. 
  • Behaving in a way that demonstrates our values, organizational workplace behavior and code of conduct.  
  • Implementing sustainability principles into all cleaning and venue presentation activities.

Requirements

Key Selection Criteria 

  • Safely use cleaning equipment and follow safe manual handling procedures
  • Navigate and use Maintenance Log systems, emails and hazard reporting systems
  • Work both independently and as part of a diverse team while managing time efficiently
  • Follow instructions, problem solve and complete tasks to a very high standard.
