The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity to work in the City Development department as a Building and Planning Support Officer. This position focuses on providing excellent customer service and administrative support to a range of internal and external stakeholders. This diverse role would suit an experienced Administration Officer who is looking for an opportunity to start their career at Council.
We are looking for a motivated, energetic and positive professional with demonstrated customer service skills and a desire to learn while being part of a friendly and supportive team. To be considered for this role you will be open to working in a fast-paced environment with a variety of tasks where your time management skills will be a great asset. The ability to work as part of a team is essential.
The successful applicant will be expected to provide exceptional customer service regarding Building and Planning enquiries both on the phone and in person and contribute towards providing an enjoyable team environment.
