About the Opportunity
Council has an exciting opportunity in its Fleet and Depots team as Senior Mechanic/Mobile Field service mechanic to effectively maintain a vast and modern Fleet.
The position will be responsible for carrying out maintenance and repairs of Council's mobile and fixed plant and equipment, primarily in a field service role, fault finding and diagnostics, to assist in the prevention of breakdowns or unexpected down time of machinery. A field service vehicle will be available from the place of residence to the worksite.
You will be working in a small team, led by a supportive and proactive management team, where you will be provided with support and training in line with Council's values, to learn the role and ensure our workers are resilient, adaptive and are able to perform to Council and community expectations.

Whilst the position is a full-time position, applicants interested in part time work are encouraged to apply. The full time offering operates under a 38-hour week with a 9-day fortnight in place, with opportunity for overtime.
