The role: We are looking to hire a customer focused and enthusiastic professional to join our Shared Services Centre as a Payroll Analyst for a fixed-term contract of 9 months. This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday in our modern Parramatta office, located just 6 minutes' walk from the nearest train station. Once you are up and running in the role As our Payroll Analyst, you’ll be: Handling end-to-end payroll processing weekly and monthly (think super, tax, and payments). Keeping employee payroll records up-to-date. Interpreting awards, agreements, and contracts for overtime and shift allowances. Calculating and processing termination payments. Processing pay increases/changes and back pay calculations. Maintaining electronic employee files to meet legal requirements. Generating payroll reports to meet internal and statutory obligations. To be successful in this role, we’re looking for someone who has: At least 2 years of payroll experience. A degree or diploma in HR or Accounting (a big plus!). Intermediate skills with large payroll systems and MS Excel. SAP experience will also be highly regarded.
A solid understanding of Australian legislation for PAYG Tax, Superannuation, and Payroll Tax and related compliance obligations. A team player attitude with a proven track record of collaboration. A passion for delivering excellent customer service and results. High attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and organise your work to meet deadlines.
