Engage, Balance and Support Heidelberg Materials Australia is a leading supplier of heavy building materials to the construction industry through our network of over 300 quarry, ready-mixed concrete, logistics and support operations. We are now looking for a Plant Allrounder, someone who is passionate about customer service, safety oriented, results focused with a strong work ethic, to join our team at the Westall Rail Depot & Concrete Plant. The successful candidate will be required to operate the front-end loader, oversee the weighbridge, and provide all round general plant maintenance. This role will see you working Monday to Friday, with weekend work and night shift work according to business needs.
In your new role with us, you will: Be a part of the team that runs the Rail depot & Concrete plant, ensuring stock levels are maintained Provide general maintenance on both fixed and mobile plant Ensure the plant is always kept neat and tidy Manage orders to ensure delivery and products meet quality requirements Can work around industry requirements, shift work at times Have Quarry / Depot / Concrete plant industry knowledge FEL experience preferred Weighbridge and computer knowledge Manage and Issue permits for Contractors This role is a great fit if you: Have a passion for delivering remarkable customer service and great results Are a team player who can multi-task and can work unsupervised Are a natural problem solver and enjoy planning and troubleshooting Want to contribute to the overall performance of the Heidelberg Materials Australia business Front End Loader ticket and/or HR licence would be advantageous Are confident using a computer What we offer: From $32.85 p/hour, pending experience/tickets held, plus penalty rates, plus super Be part of highly recognised global brand name and growing organisation Ongoing career and development opportunities Heidelberg Materials Australia is an equal opportunity employer, and we employ people from all walks of life.
