The Role

In this role you will lead the Civil Design team to oversee preparation of comprehensive and high-quality engineering designs, in support of the delivery of a diverse range of projects comprising the City of Greater Bendigo civil and public infrastructure capital works program. You will also be responsible for providing expert technical and professional engineering advice to internal and external clients, relating to applicable engineering design standards and solutions as well as influence future infrastructure planning across the municipality. 

About You

To be successful in this dynamic and varied position, you will have experience in leading and managing a results-driven team of professional Engineers and technical staff. Experience in the Local Government sector will be highly regarded. You will understand civil engineering design management practices and have excellent communication skills.

You will have qualifications in Engineering along with experience permitting membership with Engineers Australia and eligibility for inclusion on the National Engineering Register.

You will possess a high level of managerial experience and a proven track record as an effective leader.

A satisfactory police records check is required for this position.
