Salary: $99,858.23 – $109,419.10 + 11.5% Super

About the Role:

This role in the Environment team provides an excellent opportunity for a motivated candidate to broaden their skills and experience in a wide range of contaminated land project management functions in one of the most rapidly growing cities in NSW. 

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing advice on contaminated land related matters and will engage specilaist consultants and contractors from Council’s recognised contactor listing to deliver contaminated land management projects, including remediation projects.

About you:

  • Degree qualifications in Environmental Management, Environmental Science or similar, and relevant industry experience supported by asbestos and contaminated site management experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge of asbestos and contaminated land management
  • Demonstrated experience in the interpretation, implementation and compliance with NSW legislation concerning asbestos and contaminated land.
  • Demonstrated experience in identifying and organising the management, including remediation of asbestos contamination on public land.
  • Development, documentation and implementation of procedures relating to contaminated land and asbestos matters.
  • Current NSW Class C Driver’s License.

Salary will be dependent upon the relevant skills, experience and competencies of the successful applicant. This position also comes with a leaseback vehicle.
