The Community Safety and Wellbeing Officer role will be responsible for planning, implementing and promoting community safety and wellbeing initiatives across the City of Ballarat. Reporting to the Health and Social Planning Coordinator, you will be a key member of the Health and Social Planning team. The Community Safety and Wellbeing Officer will identify and respond to key social issues, developments and trends in the areas of community safety and social wellbeing including smoking and vaping, alcohol and drug related harm, gender-based violence and others as required. They will also work in partnership with external stakeholders to deliver community initiatives.
