Your Opportunity:
Multi Facility Attendants are multi skilled employees that undertake a range of duties across Council’s Transfer Stations and Buy Back Shop to support the safe and efficient optimisation of resource recovery and minimisation of waste to landfill.
Recycling Sorters are employees that sort recyclable material effectively to achieve the maximum recovery rate from the recycling waste stream and ensure the MRF is maintained and serviced to a standard which results in minimal lost productivity or economical loss.
The ideal candidate:
Team Player: Displays the ability to communicate effectively and collaborate within a team environment,
contributing to the achievement of operational and team goals.
People Skills: Demonstrates outstanding customer service skills, interacting with customers and
stakeholders in a respectful, positive, and appropriate manner, fostering positive relationships within the
community.
Computer Skills: Demonstrates sound computer skills, specifically in operating weighbridge software, MS
Office, and associated technologies, ensuring seamless execution of tasks and efficient use of digital tools.
Experience: Has demonstrated experience in waste management operations or a similar industry, or the
ability to rapidly acquire such knowledge.
