We have an exciting opportunity for a Natural Assets Ranger to join our Natural Asset Management team!

What You Will Do:

As a Natural Assets Ranger, you will enjoy undertaking a diverse range of tasks which will ensure that no two days are ever the same! You will collaborate with the community on a wide range of land management projects, supporting a passionate team dedicated to protecting and preserving the environment.

From Mirriwinni to Ellis Beach, you will tackle diverse challenges that impact both nature and the local community. With plenty of opportunities for skill development and training, you will stay engaged as your responsibilities evolve with the change of seasons.

This is a truly exciting opportunity to work hands-on in a range of activities including pest management, fire management, revegetation and native wildlife. What We Are Looking For:

  • Secondary education to Year 10 with good writing and communication skills and an understanding of basic 
    mathematics.
  • A current class C Manual Drivers Licence along with 4 wheel driving experience in off road conditions.
    Cert II Conservation & Land Management, or equivalent, or significant experience in an environmental and / or land management role.
  • Senior First Aid Certificate.
  • Construction Safety White card
  • Ability to identify native and declared plants species and manage and control same e.g. landscaping, forestry, environmental repair, park development, pest plant and animal control.
  • Willingness & desirability to participate in fire management and pest animal management activities.
  • Demonstrated ability to undertake a wide variety of physically demanding labouring tasks in a range of climatic 
    conditions and terrains.
