About the role
The Liquid Trade Waste Officer is responsible for maintaining awareness and management of impacts of non-compliance with legislation - Environmental Protection Act and licence conditions. This may include injuries to employees,
disruptions to sewerage treatment processes, environmental damage resulting from treatment process disruption, or physical damage to the sewerage system.


This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.


To be successful in this role, you will have:
• Certificate IV qualification in Water Operations (Sewer, Water or Trade Waste) OR demonstrated solid contemporary experience in a regulatory role, combined with ongoing professional development
• Current Liquid Trade Waste Regulation Certification or willing to obtain
• Current Class C Driver’s Licence.


Offer Details
The commencing salary for this position is up to $1,534.91. Central Coast
Council also provides progression opportunities for employees to progress up
to the maximum salary of $1,778.42 on completion of assessment of skills and
performance plus 12% superannuation
• We have a permanent available located at the Wyong Nexus Building
• This role will be able to access a 9 day fortnight
• We are able to offer hybrid and flexible working conditions for this role
