Permanent Full-Time (38 hours per week)
The role:
You will be responsible for leading a dedicated Works Delivery - Maintenance team operating from our Merriwa depot to undertake civil maintenance works on Councils assets. Supported by your coordinator, the role will be responsible for the provision of labour, plant and materials to deliver quality works in a timely and cost effective manner.

- $1336.50 to $1496.90 per 38 hour week + 11.5% super + potential overtime and the opportunity for salary progression
- A true 38 hour working week, Monday – Friday working week with the opportunity to access overtime if desired

What we need from you:
Our ideal candidate will have experience in civil construction works, a Certificate IV in Civil Construction Operations or a relevant qualification (e.g. Civil Construction, Frontline Management etc.) in a relevant field as well as well-developed team management and leadership skills. Experience in a similar role is desirable. Thorough knowledge of bridge, road, drainage, concrete, construction and maintenance techniques and practices is a must.
