We’re hiring a Production Supervisor to join our team at the Canberra Quarry, located in Williamsdale, about 35 minutes outside of Canberra. Reporting to the Quarry Manager, in this full-time role, you’ll play a key role in supervising quarry operations with a focus on enhancing and improving production. Your responsibilities will include: Bringing a strong safety mindset to manage high-risk activities and reduce risk exposure for yourself and others. Supervising day-to-day production operations and making decisions that impact the overall performance of the business. Managing people and guiding your team to successfully achieve goals. Ensuring the quarry is adequately maintained and stock levels of components and consumables are kept up. Identifying opportunities for improvements in work practices, planning, commissioning new equipment, and addressing environmental, health, and safety issues.


We’re looking for someone who: Has the skills to coach and develop a team with a focus on production enhancement and improvement. Is results-focused, self-motivated, and committed to risk management and Zero Harm. Has a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and achieving great results. Is a team player who can multi-task and make quick, effective decisions under pressure. Is familiar with using SAP CMMS. Builds strong and effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Is a natural problem solver who enjoys root cause analysis and troubleshooting. Has a background in quarrying, mining, or construction industries. Holds a Certificate IV in Surface Mining Operations or equivalent. What We Offer: A competitive salary package.
