The Opportunity
The Plant Operator is responsible for undertaking maintenance and construction duties through the skilled operation of Council's plant fleet. This role encompasses a range of duties and responsibilities which may vary
as directed by Council. The key ones include:
Providing a high standard of operating skills on civil construction and maintenance plant and other equipment;
Effectively using your communication skills to ensure an understanding in maintaining assigned equipment;
Completing allocated tasks consistently within agreed time frames; and
Being aware and adhering safe work practices to ensure all risks are minimised.

in:
Verification of Competency in the operation of various types of plant and equipment;
Verification of Competency in the operation of various types of plant and equipment. (Grader Essential)
Direction provided is clearly understood
Involving others and sharing important and relevant information with supervisor and team.
Following regulations and safety procedures and providing assistance to others when necessary.
Reporting unsafe working conditions/practices responsibly.
