A unique and interesting role that will lead floodplain management projects and flood impact assessments for the Central Coast area. 

  • Develop and review catchment specific flood and drainage studies
  • Provide guidance on draft flood studies, floodplain risk management studies and plans
  • Facilitate strategic projects with multi-disciplinary teams.

This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Civil or Environmental Engineering or relevant industry experience
  • Skills and experience to undertake flood studies, provide technical flood advice and advice on flood related development enquiries

Other important information

  • Salary for this position ranges from $85.8k to $103k plus 3.5% Civil Liability Allowance plus 11.5% superannuation
  • This is a permanent full-time role
  • This role will be able to access a 9 day fortnight
  • We are able to offer hybrid and flexible working conditions for this role
  • This role is located at both the Erina Works Depot and Wyong Administration Building
  • Successful candidates will be required to be vaccinated against Tetanus.
