We are now recruiting for a highly motivated full-time Financial Accountant to join our national accounting team, this role will be based in Parramatta, NSW. Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, this role provides financial accounting support that contributes to the overall achievement of business unit objectives and vital support to the broader operational accounting function.


In your new role, you will: Complete the month-end financial processing and end to end reporting for designated business units in line with corporate reporting and group reporting deadline Support key areas of the financial accounting team: fixed assets, banking, hierarchy and leases Perform monthly reporting, including internal management reports and external disclosures Provide monthly forecasting of RCO for business units under purview Complete monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations Ensure trail balance is correctly reported to enable efficient reporting for areas such as tax effect accounting, income tax returns and general reporting requirements Provide day to day accounting & commercial support for operating managers & their teams and the operational accounting analysts.


Assist with Annual Financial Plan & Budgets Capex – forecasts, review of AUC, capitalisation of completed orders Assist with standard costing, BOM maintenance, intercompany pricing Assist with integration of new acquisitions into existing business processes and system Reconcile monthly project revenue entries to progress claims Implement Process Improvement initiatives where possible Provide ad-hoc analysis and investigation of accounting issues Assist with managing internal and external audit requirements To be successful in this role you will have: Relevant accounting/commercial experience. CA, CPA or equivalent post grad qualification. Knowledge of international, Australian & accounting standards and policies with ability to comply with all related requirements. High level of SAP, Excel, Word and workflow systems skills Strong communication and leadership skills.
