About the role
Clarence Valley Council is seeking applications from a suitably qualified and experienced person to fill the role of Field Operator Treatment Plant (Sewer East). You will be working in our Water Cycle Team based at one of our Sewerage Treatment Plants in the Eastern area.
We are looking for a Field Operator Sewerage Treatment Plant who is motivated and eager to join a busy team tasked with maintaining this sophisticated wastewater network. Our Wastewater Operations team are an experienced team who strive to provide the best they can to our community.
Some of the duties include:
• Operate and maintain wastewater treatment equipment and processes.
• Monitor and record operational data and parameters.
• Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with team members for efficient plant operations.

This position is located at Woodford Island Sewer Treatment Plant, however, this may change should business needs identify other work locations to be more appropriate to deliver our services in the future.
