About the opportunity

Looking for a development opportunity? Or are you an experienced town planner looking for a short-mid term contract in the beautiful South-West region?  The Shire is seeking the services of a suitably qualified planning officer to help support the planning team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing planning applications in accordance with the Local Planning Scheme and relevant State/Local Planning Policies.  

A tertiary qualification, or requisite experience relevant to urban and regional planning is required.   Experience in project managing planning applications, developed communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships are all key requirements for this role.  This is a great opportunity to join a friendly planning team and gain some great experience.  If this sounds like you, please apply now.  We look forward to hearing from you.

• Fixed-term for immediate start (6-12 months)

• EA Level 6/7 ($82,977 - $97,263 per annum pro-rata)
