The Role

An exciting opportunity exists within our Infrastructure Services directorate for a Civil Construction Worker.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing labouring duties associated with roads and drainage maintenance and construction in the Whitsunday region.

Essential

1. Class MR or HR/HC Driver’s licence or willingness to obtain soon after appointment
2. General Construction Safety Induction (White card)
3. Traffic Management Implementation or willingness to obtain soon after appointment
4. Certificate III in Civil Construction or willingness to obtain soon after appointment

Desirable

1. High Risk licence Forklift
2. Operational Competency in Plant Operation for Roller, Backhoe, Grader, Bobcat (Skid Steer)
3. Traffic Control Ticket
