Casual Cleaning Officer

Location – (1 x Bowen + 1 x Cannonvale)

Hourly rate commencing at $42.05 per hour

The Whitsunday Regional Council is situated at the heart of the Great Barrier Reef. The region encompasses the 74 tropical Whitsunday Islands, the coastal towns of Cannonvale, Airlie Beach, Jubilee Pocket, Shute Harbour and Bowen along with the rural towns of Proserpine and Collinsville. The Role

Council is seeking suitable qualified applicants to undertake the role of Casual Cleaning Officer in Bowen or Cannonvale. This role will be responsible for ensuring all Whitsunday Regional Council operated public amenities and facilities are clean and well maintained.

Hours of work will be on an as needed basis and may include coverage on a Saturday and/or Sunday.

Essential

1. C Class Drivers Licence.

2. Commercial cleaning experience.

3. Level of fitness in order to successfully complete physical requirements of the role.

Desirable

1. First Aid Certificate.
