Batch & Drive We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic customer focused go-getter to join the Heidelberg Materials Australia team at our Corowa Concrete Plant. Located 45 minutes west of Albury. The Concrete Batcher has excellent career development potential with the opportunity to learn about concrete, quarry materials, plant operation, concrete batching, scheduling, and logistics whilst working in the construction industry. Along with batching, you will also have the opportunity to get in the truck to deliver our product to our customers. Valid HR licence is required.
In your new role with us, you will be: Overseeing the operation of a concrete batch plant Operating a front-end loader (FEL) Regularly interacting with customers, taking orders & scheduling deliveries Working in a high performing team, collaborating with other local plants to deliver positive outcomes for Heidelberg Materials Australia and the customer Able to demonstrate safety and show leadership potential Ensure all products adhere to strict quality requirements Monitoring all plant and equipment, scheduling & conducting maintenance as required Managing maintenance & production tasks, which includes some level of manual handling Delivering concrete to customers (HR license required) This role is a great fit for you, if you: Are an effective communicator, have a team mentality and ability to work unsupervised Seek a flexible roster that includes Saturday work and overtime Hold a Heavy Rigid (HR) license Experience on a front end loader Are looking to obtain Construction Card / White Card Are able to operate with and support our Zero Harm safety policy Can physically perform all tasks associated with the position What we offer: From $30.35 p/hour, plus penalties, plus super Monday – Friday, generally 5:00am/5:30am starts working 8 – 10 hours p/day, with rostered half day Saturdays 10 day training program on how to operate the agitator and slump concrete FEL ticket (if not already achieved) Be part of highly recognized global brand name and growing organization Ongoing training and development opportunities Heidelberg Materials Australia is an equal opportunity employer, and we employ people from all walks of life.
