We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Assistant Service Delivery Lead (Unsealed Roads) to join our Civil Services team. Reporting directly to the Service Delivery Lead (Civil), this key role supports the delivery of Council’s Unsealed Roads and natural disaster response programs.

As a vital member of the Asset Maintenance team, you will play an important role in planning, coordinating and supporting field teams to ensure efficient and effective delivery of unsealed road construction and maintenance activities. This includes improving coordination of related services such as roadside vegetation and drainage maintenance, while enhancing the overall customer experience and fostering strong relationships with industry stakeholders.

The successful applicant will also be responsible for managing and executing grading operations, maintaining project timelines and quality standards.

Flexibility and a practical mindset are essential, as the role requires stepping in to operate machinery when needed—ensuring continuity of critical work when team members are absent or positions are unfilled.

If you're ready to make a meaningful impact on community infrastructure, and thrive in a dynamic, service-oriented environment, we invite you to apply.

What You’ll Bring:

• Trade / Industry qualification and/or extensive experience in civil infrastructure, construction or maintenance

• Demonstrated ability to lead a team to achieve goals

• Demonstrated ability to problem solve and develop effective and practical solutions

• Demonstrated skills in unsealed road construction and maintenance

• Current Queensland “C” class drivers licence

• Demonstrated knowledge of WTMA Road Maintenance Code of Practice
